Did someone say a new world order?

Have you ever looked at someone and said, “Something is different about you, I just can’t say exactly what it is.” After we start clarifying what was mentioned, you glow, a light; your smile is different, so on and so forth. The response might be “something in my life has changed.”

Their world is no longer what they knew; it’s a different place where they are happier and more comfortable than before. Their changes become significant enough for an individual to feel what they can't see.

This is what psychologists deem as the psychological shift- A fundamental, internally driven restructuring of beliefs, values, and identity that motivates sustained changes toward a sustainable lifestyle.

Sociological analysis has explored the same principles in society: Societal Paradigm Restructuring-

Fundamental societal shift in values, structures, and worldviews towards sustainability and well-being.

The Different World’s theme song is a perfect example of the “rules” on dealing with SPR theory.

On September 27, 1987, a television spinoff of the Cosby Show, A Different World, debuted. It broadcast an HBCU experience while spotlighting black intellectualism and issues that other shows lacked. Aretha Franklin wrote and powerfully sang the theme song across the television screens watched around the country. To this day, the chorus is sung with joy and euphoria.

[Verse 1]

I know my parents loved me

Stand behind me come what may, mmm

I know now that I'm ready, yeah

For I finally heard them say

[Chorus]

It's a different world (Ooh, ooh)

Than where you come from

Yes, it is now, yeah

[Verse 2]

Here's our chance to make it, hey

And if we focus on our goal

You can dish it, we can take it, hey

Just remember that you've been told

[Chorus]

It's a different world (It's a different world)

It's a different world (It's a different world)

Yeah, than where you come from

Ooh ooh ooh ooh

Than where you come from!

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke at the World Economic Forum Annual meeting. During the speech, he explained how the world order is no longer dependable.

Translated from French

“Thank you, Larry. It is both a pleasure, and a duty, to be with you tonight in this pivotal moment that Canada and the world going through.

Today I will talk about a rupture in the world order, the end of a pleasant fiction and the beginning of a harsh reality, where geopolitics, where the large, main power, geopolitics, is submitted to no limits, no constraints.

On the other hand, I would like to tell you that the other countries, especially intermediate powers like Canada, are not powerless. They have the capacity to build a new order that encompasses our values, such as respect for human rights, sustainable development, solidarity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the various states.

The power of the less power starts with honesty.”

Countries are appearing to actively listen to their citizens. Some world leaders see the current American Government in a major setback. Their Reassessment of the country’s values, ethics, and accountability has impacted future development.

It was the same for Aretha Franklin when she wrote the theme song.

She understood that stepping into college after graduating from high school is a different world. In the ‘new world,’ don’t forget what you have learned while attaining your goals.

Here's our chance to make it, hey

And if we focus on our goal

You can dish it, we can take it, hey

Just remember that you've been told

Every decade or two, geopolitical issue/s or events reshape how individual societies operate.

An audit of economics, populations, standard of living, politics, migration, education, and alliances is compared to historical lessons and present consequences. This analysis steers the

“Here's our chance to make it, hey.”

During the Re-evaluation authority and the system become the focal point of what’s not working for the betterment of the people. This selective approach has its drawbacks. People focus on the person creating the problem instead of realizing the solution prior didn’t fix anything. The judgment of the government’s actions is a direct cause of broken promises and policies. The dysfunctional system lives on the occasional blind eye toward corruption and accountability of political figures, local, state, and federal.

Over time, the results are apparent to answer the question, did society evolve or de-evolve?

When society is finally able to respond with their vote or voice, politicians respond in several ways in no particular order: understanding, empathetic, dismissive, respectful, uncompromising, apologetic, and arrogant.

What can’t be ignored, or looked over?

The data; collected data can strengthen or diminish the communities out look on the future.

For instance, data has shown that the replacement of books with technology only, caused low cognition.

The data comparison over 20 years shows the Educational System’s approach to the technology age failed.

Some adjustments have an adverse effect from the beginning. Unfortunately, policymakers’ choices lead to avoidance or an unwillingness to acknowledge the consequences. A detrimental effect of bad decisions with no ramifications.

Each reappraisal is a risk assessment, exposing unstable policies and criticism of unacknowledged foundational values.

America isn’t the only geographic region where people have made the same mistake.

Sweden also made the same mistake:

The difference between one another is the willingness to accept the wrong and adjust accordingly. Is it because they don’t dismiss historical facts?

The evolution of technology has increased access to information at a rapid pace. Meanwhile, processing the information has slowed down, especially with AI providing more of the “critical thinking”.

It's a different world (It's a different world)

It's a different world (It's a different world)

Yeah, than where you come from

Ooh ooh ooh ooh

Navigation of new technology may not have the same impactful and influential effect. While society searches and consciously collectively agrees on a balance, the previous system holding control over culture has a restructuring breakdown.

Building new dynamics, dysfunction, developments, discovery, solutions, solidarities, shifts in power dynamics, and structures, and eventually laying the foundation of a different world.

As the global connection change so will native and nonnative populations, furthering the development of growth opportunities and integration into global markets. The switch of resources and limitations has set the groundwork for geopolitical policies to change. Innovation maximizes the advancement of regional support and the growth of the population.

A clear example of this is African countries’ political alliances backed by regional leaders in art, fashion, science and design.

Is societal paradigm restructuring theory a straight line?

The definition of paradigm makes this theory misleading - a model for something that a model for something that may be copied : may be copied.

The definition transforms when restructuring on a social level is applied. Concluding it’s not straight but parallel, perpendicular, curved, or twisted because human behavior is not a linear process.

The SPR theory is not straightforward; it’s a lateral movement forward. The irregular motion takes irregular thinking to maximize output.

How to apply this theory?

This may be a simple solution, but powerful. Authentically embracing cultures by embracing a diverse culture within the company. The company and brand are a reflection of the customer. If the company’s backend doesn’t match the consumer base, the customer will recognize the inauthenticity within. Secondly, projecting a particular culture on individuals always backfires. Especially when the projection is culturally deaf. The solution is connecting with individuals from the culture. In this different world, singular thinking and limited perspective can lead to an unwanted outcome a entity may not recover from.

"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them — that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like" (Lao Tzu)
